#107 - Tyringham

 Tyringham is a small Berkshires town with only 327 year round residents.  One of my favorite musicians is Yo-Yo Ma and he lives here (at least when Tanglewood is in season).  This red barn is at the edge of his property which includes lots of land and beautiful view close to the Appalachian Trail.

 This is one of only 15 towns in Massachusetts that doesn't have any state (numbered) roads.  There are only two towns in the Berkshires like this!  We'd like to go back and visit again when we can go to some of the Trustees of the Reservations properties in town without so much snow on the ground.

The Appalachian Trail crosses Tyringham.  We walked south on the trail across the valley.
