#97 Lawrence

The 13th Largest city in Massachusetts, Lawrence is a classic mill town.  Structures like this harnessed the power of the Merrimack River to drive industry.  That time has largely passed and these building are now being converted to office, storage and residential spaces.  New balance operate a large footwear factory in the mill across the river.  A couple new pairs were purchased on this very cold January day!
