#118 - Carlisle

     We stopped in Carlisle after our trip to DeCordova in Lincoln.  Northwest of Boston, this town of 4,800 is home to a portion of the Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge and the Carlisle Trails Commission maintains some neighboring trails.  We hiked the well maintained Greenough Land trail.  The pond's clear water was glistening.
