#155 - #157 - Holyoke, Easthampton, Southampton

In Holyoke(#155) We visited the Dinosaur Footprints park which is just footsteps away from the Connecticut River. The existence of many tracks is considered to be some of the earliest evidence that dinosaurs were herding animals.
Next we moved onto neighboring Easthampton, #156, which is a hidden gem of a town. It sits at the base of the Western side of Mt. Tom, and has a cute stretch of stores and art in its downtown area. Home to Williston Northampton school, the campus also has scenic walking areas.
Finally we stopped at #157 Southampton - This orchard was the spot of a plane crash that Teddy Kennedy survived in 1964. The plane was on approach to the Westfield airport when it ran into trouble. Kennedy was en route to the Mass State Democratic Convention in Springfield. Sadly the pilot and an aide died in the crash.
