#184 - #186 Salem, Peabody and Chelmsford

Full disclosure, I am trying to catch the blog up while I'm on summer vacation (teacher life). My goal is to get there by the end of the summer. These were taken last fall - but you can bank them as spots to visit in just a couple of months. #184 - Salem. Spooky scenes from the witch capital of the world, Salem. We decided to walk this town on an October weekend to get the full effect. It was crazy busy with the downtown PACKED with revelers. We were able to see the Salem Witch Museum, House of Seven Gables, Salem Witch Trial Memorial, and plenty of costumes 🧙‍♀️ 👻 🎃 🌚 😈 💀🧛🏼
We have been to Peabody (#185) a half dozen times and gone for one reason only….to visit the only authentic German deli and market in the area - Karl's Sausage Kitchen. On this trip we picked up Weisswurst, Knockwurst, Nurnberg Bratwsurst, Coarse Bratwurst, German Sauerkraut, German Mustard, and Liverwurst. I also love the big sausage sign 😃 🇩🇪 🇺🇸
We were able to knock off #186 Chelmsford last Sunday on the way home from a visit to New Hampshire. Chelmsford had a very large common and I liked the leaves and sky in this pic. Look closely for Scott and Duchess walking ahead in the picture.
