#187 - #189, Milton, Canton and Sharon

We waited until the first frost to hike to the top of the Blue Hills Reservation in Milton (#187). It’s the home of one of the only populations of Eastern Rattlesnakes and Copperheads in the state. It’s also the home longest continuously operated weather observatory in the United States.
We visited Canton (#188), aka location of Dunkin Donuts World Headquarters. We walked around their corporate campus and daydreamed about working at a place with unlimited free access to donuts, coffee and ice cream.
For our 189th town, we walked in the center of Sharon. Their library has a sculpture of Deborah Sampson in front. Deborah is known for disguising herself as a man to serve in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. She later married and lived the rest of her life here in Sharon.
