#190 - 192 Ludlow, Granby and Belchertown.

We highly recommend this hike in Granby (#191) . Part of the Mt Holyoke range, the summit of Mt. Norwottuck was a pretty easy trek. The top included great views of Amherst with Umass’ Southwest Living community (aka high rise party dorms). Maybe next fall we can hike it with our daughter when she is on campus!
Clapp Memorial Library in Belchertown (#192) is one of the most striking public libraries we have seen in the Commonwealth. It is built in the form of a Latin cross and features two large, stained glass windows as well as an eighty-foot-high tower in the center of the building. The building materials are all from Massachusetts.
We took a stroll along the Ludlow (#190) Reservoir Shoreline Trail, which has a level, paved walking/biking trail that goes around the Springfield Reservoir. Like any good Labby, Duchess is looking longingly at all that water, but “No Dogs Allowed”. Or maybe that was no dogs allowed on the path. Luckily we didn’t see the Reservoir Police 👮‍♀️.
