#205 and #206 Boxborough and Littleton

Boxborough (#205) has an esker! What is an esker you might ask? I didn't know either until we did this walk. In the picture I'm standing on top of one! The Beaver Brook esker was deposited during the last ice age. They form when a stream flows beneath a glacier and the sidement was left behind when the ice melted.
Littleton (#206) was a challenge. We started at the post office (which looks like many others in our state). But, it might have the most famous former Postal Carrier in the state, Steve Carrell. Check out the clip of him discussing the job (and mentioning Littleton) on Ellen. FYI, Steve grew up in neighboring Concord.
