Westport - #211, Hardwick - #212, Saugus #213

We walked #211 Westport (still mislabled) on a sunny winter day. It was so much fun to walk Horseneck Beach in the winter when it was quiet. The dogs (Duchess and Roscoe - NEADS puppy in training) loved it!
In Hardwick we walked over the Ware-Hardwick Covered Bridge was built in 1859 and reconstructed in 1986 using all of the original 19th techniques (cross braced beams, wood pegs, iron rods). On the other side of the bridge is Lost Towns Brewing, where we spent the better part of the afternoon admiring the craftsmanship.
I’m sure Saugus is lovely, but the only reason I know anything about Saugus is because of the gaudy Kowloon pan-Asian restaurant, located along Route 1. It’s huge, with a massive restaurant, comedy club, and multiple bars. It was worth the trip to go in and experience it, but not a trip back because the food was average, at best.
