Next Ten Towns #11-20: Chicopee, Brookline, Boston, Grafton, Framingham, Berlin, Westborough, Taunton, Hopkinton, Lowell

When we started this project we were walking a town almost every day. Many towns were right near our home town of Shrewsbury so we could head out after work to check them out. Some of the pictures we had from these walks were ones that we had previously taken in town for another occasion. Lowell #20 was one of those. Our daughter's Shrewsbury Vortex had a very successful softball tournament in Lowell so when we decided to walk there we went back to the softball field complex and walked around there to re-live some of our pre-COVID memories. We shared our favorite Lowell memory ever, Heather’s last softball game ending with a trophy ( as well as our last service puppy in training Windy).
Boston #13 - This is in Southie, looking across a bay toward the JFK Presidential Library. A really great walk (with free parking) to Castle Island.
Framingham State - nice looking campus. Big commuter school. Framingham, until recently, had the distinction of being the biggest town in MA (over 100K)
Berlin #16 - Gates Pond - we did the beautiful (and well maintained) 2.5 mile loop trail.
Naturally, the photo in Hopkinton is the starting line for the Boston Marathon. 26.2 miles to Boston.
There are lots of historic homes in Westborough. A series of them run along Route 30, near Westborough High School
Elms College in Chicopee was our very first college walk in this project.
