#316 - 320 Middlefield, Peru, Worthington, Hinsdale, Washington

Nice walk along the Appalachian Trail, Washington, MA (#319). First time we’ve seen an official AT Survey marker on our walks.
You can visit Peru (#317) without even leaving our state! We walked our mile at the Dorothy Frances Rice sanctuary which had well maintained and marked trails. A cool feature was a book with time lapse photos of wildlife in the area which included bears, coyotes and lots of deer.
Worthington - Beer, barns, and maple syrup collection lines. Some of the interesting things we saw in the small town of Worthington. The beer, which was good, is from Sena Farm Brewery.
Middlefield (#316) We explored the small but scenic Glendale Falls Trustees property. It is one of the states highest and longest waterfalls and feeds the Glendale brook into the Westfield River.
The small town of Hinsdale (#318) is located in western MA. Its claim to fame is architectural, as seen below. Constructed in 1866, the Hinsdale Town Library is a rare early example of French Tudor style. Pretty cool!
