The Hardest (and Smallest) Town to Visit - Gosnold #345

We made it to the smallest town in MA! Gosnold (#345) has a year round population of 70 and nearly all live in the village of Cuttyhunk. Gosnold comprises the privately held Elizabeth Islands. Cuttyhunk, the only public space in Gosnold, sits on the southernmost of the islands. It can only be accessed by pleasure boat or a ferry from New Bedford, which we took. Residents get around by golf cart. There is a tiny municipal hall, miniature public library, and 1 room school sitting side-by-side. A single sandwich shop operates in the marina and any shopping is done on the mainland. It is the most unique place we have visited.
